Amelia Pan is a Managing Director in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in London.
Drawing on more than two decades experience in capital-markets and stakeholder engagement, Ms. Pan advises company boards and executives on shareholder matters including investor engagement, navigating governance expectations and activist approaches, and strategic communications to build shareholder support for noteworthy transactions.
Before joining PJT Partners, Ms. Pan was a Partner in the London office at Brunswick Group, where she founded the global ESG practice to advise clients on sustainable value creation. Previously, Ms. Pan was a senior member of the International Sales and Trading desk at J.P. Morgan for 13 years, leading the Corporate Access team in New York and London. Throughout her career she built investment relationships between the largest US long-only and hedge fund investors and the world’s leading public corporations, including through IPOs and other capital raises.
Ms. Pan began her career as an equity research analyst at Merrill Lynch in New York and was Press Officer for Médecins sans Frontières, the Nobel Prize-winning international humanitarian medical organization. She serves on the Advisory Board of Workiva, a publicly listed SaaS technology firm, and as an Expert in Residence with Extraordinary Women on Boards. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Sustainability from the University of Cambridge, an MSc from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
