David Gillis is a Managing Director and the Corporate Secretary of PJT Partners, based in New York.
Prior to joining PJT Partners in 2022, Mr. Gillis practiced law for 18 years in the JPMorgan Legal Department in New York. He also practiced for nine years at the law firms of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and San Francisco.
Mr. Gillis holds an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University, in Government; an MPhil from Cambridge University, England, in International Relations; and a J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law.
