Senior Advisor
Ignacio Moreno is a Senior Advisor at PJT Partners, based in Madrid.
Mr. Moreno has significant and broad professional experience in private equity, asset management, corporate banking and restructuring activities. He worked for Santander Investment Bank as a corporate banking manager and then as Head of the Equity Research Department. In 1992, he joined Argentaria - a new bank that merged all the Spanish state-owned banks at this time – as Head of the Group industrial portfolio. At Argentaria he held several positions, as Chairman of the Stock Exchange and Securities subsidiary, Managing Director of Corporate and Wholesale Banking and Managing Director of the Chairman Office, among others. He also served as CEO of two leading Private Equity firms in Spain, Vista Capital and Alantra.
Mr. Moreno is non-executive Chairman of Metrovacesa, one of the leading Spanish real estate developers and previously served for 10 years on the board of Telefónica, SA. Today he is member of the Telefónica de España Advisory Board, the Telefónica Brazil Board and the Roadis and GAM boards, among others.
Mr. Moreno graduated from Universidad de Bilbao in Economics and Business Administration and holds an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau).
