Juan Sierra is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group of PJT Partners based and is based in Madrid.
Before joining PJT Partners, he was a Director at Blackstone Advisory Partners in London. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Sierra worked at the restructuring team of PwC, advising debtors and creditors in Spain and in Latin America. Mr. Sierra’s special situations and restructuring experience covers debtor and creditor advisory, distressed M&A, broader capital structure advisory and the arrangement of finance for stressed and distressed corporates, including advising Naviera Armas, OHL, Codere, DIA Supermercados, Grupo Siro, Aldesa, Grupo Eroski, Soares da Costa, Preem, BAA, Madagascar Oil, Agrokor, Mercator, Labiana Life Science, Latvian Commercial and Mortgage Bank, Paconsa, Grupo Postobon, Hylsamex and CYDSA among others. Mr. Sierra has also participated in numerous relevant Strategic Advisory transactions including Ambuibérica, Mémora, Logiters, Geriatros, Tryo Technologies, Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, Contego Healthcare, Actavis Pharmaceuticals, Mivisa, BioCity, BuyVIP and Telvent among others.
Mr. Sierra received his MBA from INSEAD and his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CUNEF in Spain. Mr. Sierra is fluent in Spanish and English.
