Douglas Chow

Douglas Chow is the Chief AI Officer, based in New York.

Prior to joining PJT Partners in 2025, Mr. Chow was the Founder and CEO of PortageBay. He brings more than 25 years of experience in applying artificial intelligence and data science to investment processes. His previous roles include senior positions at BlackRock, where he focused on integrating AI and data into investment operations. Prior to BlackRock, Mr. Chow had a 20-year career as a portfolio manager at Fidelity, Perry Capital and Amaranth. At Fidelity, Mr. Chow co-founded the firm’s big data group and was a founding member of the Hong Kong office.

Mr. Chow previously served on the IFRS Taxonomy Board, teaches at Harvard Business School and is an advisory board member for the quantitative finance program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He earned his MBA from Stanford Business School and holds a BSc in electrical engineering and BA in economics from Queen’s University. He also attended Singularity University.
