Edd Fleming

Edd Fleming, M.D. is a Senior Advisor at PJT Partners.

Dr. Fleming has spent more than 30 years in the health care industry, including 26 years at McKinsey & Company where he was a senior partner and leader in McKinsey’s Life Sciences practice. Dr. Fleming led McKinsey's R&D practice for 6 years where he led McKinsey's work on portfolio strategy, R&D operational improvement, and asset strategy and optimization. He has an extensive network of commercial and R&D leaders across the industry that enabled the development of a leading Chief Medical Officer forum. Prior to McKinsey, Dr. Fleming was a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician at University of California, San Francisco, where he trained in addition to Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Fleming is currently Executive Vice President, Commercialization at Enavate Sciences where he is integral to the origination, diligence, and selection of Enavate investments and support of the Enavate portfolio of companies. Dr. Fleming currently serves on the board of directors of several Enavate portfolio companies, including OrsoBio, Sionna Therapeutics, Sudo Biosciences and Upstream Bio. He also serves as an independent director on the boards of CRISPR Therapeutics, Komodo Health and Egnite Health and on the Council of Visitors for Vanderbilt’s School of Basic Sciences.

Dr. Fleming earned his AB in Chemistry from Harvard College and an MD from Vanderbilt Medical School.
