Erik Lisher is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of the Global Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners, based in New York.

Mr. Lisher is also a member of the RSSG Operating Committee. Previously, Mr. Lisher was a Managing Director in the Investor Relations & Business Development Group at Blackstone involved in all aspects of fundraising activities for the Private Equity, Energy and Tactical Opportunities funds.

Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in Blackstone’s Restructuring & Reorganization Group where he worked from 2003 to 2013 on a variety of strategic advisory and restructuring transactions for companies and creditor groups. Examples of Mr. Lisher’s public assignments include Ford Motor Company, General Motors, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Hawker Beechcraft, Levitz Home Furnishings, Marchon Eyewear, Meridian Lightweight Technologies and XL Capital. He also served as a board member of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Lisher was an Associate at JPMorgan in the investment banking group where he executed various M&A, high yield and leveraged finance transactions.

Mr. Lisher is a member of the Board of Visitors of the Wake Forest University School of Business and also serves on the Board of Managers of Verger Capital, which manages the Wake Forest University endowment. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Spanish Peaks Community Foundation in Big Sky, Montana. Mr. Lisher received a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
