Managing Director
Avi Raval is a Managing Director in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in New York.
Avi Raval was most recently the CFO and CBO of the gene editing company Synthego and has more than 25 years of financial and strategic experience. Prior to joining Synthego, he was a Managing Director and founding member of the Healthcare Group at Perella Weinberg Partners with a primary focus on Medical Devices. During his tenure there, Mr. Raval advised companies on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, strategic matters, and public and private financings and served as Chief Operating Officer for the firm’s advisory business. Prior to that, Mr. Raval started his investment banking career in J.P. Morgan’s Healthcare Group.
Mr. Raval holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
