George Farber is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in San Francisco.
Prior to joining PJT Partners, Mr. Farber was a Senior Managing Director at Evercore, which he joined in 2013. While at Evercore, he was primarily responsible for client coverage in the Technology corporate advisory business, with a particular focus on the Software sector. With over 19 years of investment banking experience, Mr. Farber has an extensive track record of advising a broad range of software companies and private equity firms. He was involved in more than 100 transactions across both applications and infrastructure Software sectors. Prior to joining Evercore, he was a Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Farber received a BA in Economics from New York University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business
