John Trousdale is a Partner at PJT Partners, based in New York.
Mr. Trousdale joined PJT Partners in 2015 after spending over 11 years at Credit Suisse, most recently as Vice Chairman of Global M&A and the Global Head of Media & Telecom M&A. From 2005-2009, he served as Co-Head of Credit Suisse’s Media & Telecom Group. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Trousdale spent over 14 years at Merrill Lynch, most recently as Head of the Media Group.
Since commencing focus on the Media & Telecom sectors in 1998, Mr. Trousdale has advised on M&A transactions totaling more than $700 billion, including more than 50 transactions in excess of $7 billion. Mr. Trousdale has worked on a broad range of public and private M&A transactions, including numerous cross-border mergers.
Mr. Trousdale received a BA degree from Georgetown University.
