Mike Poelman is a Managing Director in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners where he advises clients on M&A and capital markets transactions in the renewable energy sector.
Mr. Poelman is based in Los Angeles and previously worked in PJT offices in New York and London. Prior to joining PJT, Mr. Poelman worked in the power and utilities groups at Blackstone and UBS, and as a management consultant at Infrastructure Management Group. Over the course of his career Mr. Poelman has worked on a broad range of public and private transactions, and has advised clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to pre-IPO start-ups, including renewable independent power producers, infrastructure fund managers and oil and gas companies.
Mr. Poelman received a BA in English Literature from Brigham Young University and a JD/MBA from American University.
