William Evarts is a Managing Director in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners, based in New York.
Since joining PJT Partners’ predecessor firm Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Evarts has advised companies, municipalities, creditors and sponsors in restructurings, special situations, financings, mergers and acquisitions. He has worked across numerous industries, including municipals, media/telecom, retail, consumer, automotive, metals and mining, industrials, and oil and gas. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Evarts worked at Morgan Stanley. He has served as a guest lecturer at George Washington Law School and NYU School of Law.
Mr. Evarts received a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he graduated cum laude, and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Evarts also received an AB from Harvard College, where he graduated cum laude.
